Kabbalah Experience

The Journey of Kabbalah

Winter Semester

January 8 March 16, 2018

Classes

The Experience of Kabbalah
The heart and soul of spiritual learning at Kabbalah Experience is the method of its study. Teachers balance between thorough presentation of the curriculum and facilitating discussion with focus on growth for each student and for the class as a whole. Questions serve as a method of learning – engaging and challenging the mind to constantly consider shifts in perception.

Establishing a classroom atmosphere of trust and respect allows students and teachers to explore and share their experiences; their triumphs and challenges in the personal growth they are seeking. Over time, classes coalesce and evolve from “students who have come together to learn” into a supportive conscious community where students “learn with and from each other.” Classes are limited to 11 students and a teacher. We sit around a circular table. Classes are typically 75 minutes and each semester is 10 weeks (mini-classes are 75 minutes for 4-5 weeks).

Dreams and Kabbalah

“A dream not interpreted is like a letter not read.” This quote is not from Freud or Jung but from the Zohar, the classic medieval Kabbalah book highlighting the connection between dreams and our spiritual growth. We spend an average of 9 years dreaming. In what ways are dreams guides for our emotional and spiritual development? Come and see the significance of dreams. Those wishing to share their dreams are welcomed to do so. Instructor: Dr. David Sanders

The Songs of Leonard Cohen

His lyrics and melodies take us on a spiritual journey and resonate with the core teachings of Kabbalah. Homage to a man and his music with lessons to be learned from the cracks of light in the darkness the deeper one listens.
