This class is designed for the student who were enrolled in Fall semester Teachings of Reb Zalman course with Dr. David Sanders.
I first encountered Reb Zalman in 1986 when he was living in Philadelphia. Our relationship deepened when our paths crossed again in Colorado. Reb Zalman dedicated the opening of Kabbalah Experience in south Denver in 2010. Reb Zalman and I had numerous discussions about spiritual teachings, with particular focus on Kabbalah and Chassidut. This course will draw from my personal relationship with him, his voluminous writings, the “Reb Zalman papers” housed at the University of Colorado, Boulder and his public talks available on You Tube. We will also view the documentary The Jew in the Lotus which portrays Reb Zalman’s relationship with the Dalai Lama.
Classes are offered in-person and virtually through Zoom
