Level 4 Classes
The Kabbalah Path
The Awareness Practices include: living with gratitude and intention; setting limits; expanding one’s concern for others; not being attached to the outcome and paying attention to what shows up.. these courses are to be taken in sequence.
Returning to the Tree of Life we learn the 11 Kabbalistic practices of awareness (Base, Core and Subtle). Base of Awareness focuses on four practices connected to the four lower Sefirot on the Tree of Life: The most basic awareness is mirror awareness- the practice of paying attention to what shows up in our life (Malchut). The foundational awareness is being in the present, which includes fully integrating both past and future in this moment (Yesod). The next practices of awareness help us to navigate the balance between acceptance for what is (Hod) and the pursuit of our intentions, what can be (Netzach).
Course not offered Spring 2023.
In continuing our awareness practice using the Tree of Life as a map, we explore a central teaching, The Kabbalah of Holding Opposites. Through applying the wisdom of Holding Opposites, we expand our ability to engage in a more open and honest relationship with the polarities that exist throughout life, within others and within ourselves
This class is not offered Spring 2023.
The more Neuroscientists discover about the brain the more mysterious is the mind and consciousness. How does a self-become aware of it-self and how does one develop greater capacity for self-awareness? The subtle mind, the capacity for consciousness that transcends the neurochemical pathways is represented in Kabbalah by the upper Sefirot of the Tree of Life, each with its different capacity for self-reflection. Revisiting our understanding of identity through masks, metaphors and beyond.
