Kabbalah as an Antidote to Tribalistic Religion

Guest Price: Price range: $250.00 through $350.00

The new series challenges the notion of religion as an inherently conservative, tribalistic force in society with a study of a recent book by maverick rabbi, Rami Shapiro.  Rabbi Rami’s theology, like that of teachers like rabbis Abraham Joshua Heschel, Zalman Schacter-Shlomi, and Arthur Green, is steeped in kabbalah.  In his book “Judaism without Tribalism: A Guide to Being a Blessing to All the Peoples of the Earth” we get a glimpse of how religion infused with a kabbalistic sensibility might look.

Participants will be asked to purchase their own copy of the book, and bring a willingness to re-examine religion through a modern kabbalistic lens.

This class will be offered virtually through Zoom only (not offered in-person)
